Ok so Monitors come in annoying Merkin Imperial sizes, and the size is measured across the Diagonal. Neither of which help me when I am trying to determine in Metric how wide a monitor is.

So I created a quick Excel spreadsheet that lets you check the size in Inches then determine the Width and Height in either Inches/MM. (Only the screen, this obviously can't determine the size of the bezel around the screen)

I have it in 16x10(which most widescreen PC monitors are) 16x9(widescreen TVs) and 4x3(Non-Widescreen format common to TVs and Monitors).
I have used 30,27,24,22,19 inch sizes, as they fit most common sizes around nowadays.

So when you look at the spreadsheet, you will see that a 24" 16x10 PC monitor will have a Height of 12.72"/323.09mm and a width of 20.35"/516.94mm

Awesome work Woolfe!

Have you tried it as a PDF or JPEG?

This board is a bit finicky when it comes to attachments :?

The forums only accept image files like JPEG, etc... as far as I'm aware.

Have you tried that?

Yeha I was trying to work out the absolute minimum I would need width wise for the monitor, and it didn't quite seem right, then it clicked... they a re measured by Diagonals.

At the moment I am thinking of staying with the 4x3 19" as it is actually almost as high as the 24". So unless I can get a 16x10/9 27/30" to give me more height, its not worth shelling out extra whilst I have the 19" available....

Larger 4x3s seem to be hard to find.....

If I go the 19" I reckon I could go a 600mm wide cab. My only concern is that if I do go 4 player the CP will probably be at least 1000mm, which is 200mm overhang either side.
