been working on the side art for my cab, but i seem to have an issue with the 'lens-flare' on the end of Dirk's sword, when i import the ai file into coreldraw, it turns into a white circle, instead of a transparent flash, if that makes sense....

see below

any gurus out there...

So I'm guessing you need to use Corel? I'm thinking it doesn't like transparencies so much - are you able to flatten the image or export from AI as a PNG-24 (that's if Corel can read them)? Alternatively can you open it in Photoshop to flatten and export?

Don't have a lot of experience with Corel Draw so I am guessing here.

I'm no expert but converting to something else before converting in this program you mention (ie - Corel) was my initial thoughts also.
