I have sourced most of of gear my from ozstick but they are out of the control panel vinyl overlay film. What other options do I have? Does just painting the control panel seem like a feasible idea or too cheap?

Thanks, Raen.

A vinyl overlay will be alot more durable than a painted finish but maybe having a baked enamel finish would look pretty cool, not to mention durable.

A perspex overlay could do justice also.

i contact glued laminate to mine. but you need a detail router to finish it off.
i tried the overlay vinyl, but i wasnt impressed with the result.

i thin textured clear mylar overlay might be an option (i use it all the time at work) it is fairly easy to cut. I think it is about .2mm thick

good luck

Thanks for the ideas guys.
I ended up going with a contact-glued laminated that I sourced for free from a local kitchen makers.
