well i plugged in both of the lowboys i got... 1 of them "P47 freedom fighter" works well... wifey and i had a bash at it earlier.

but alas the "Toki" machine doesnt fire up...

the power supply turns on, but there is no "bzzz, tick" from the monitor... does that mean a dead tube?

thinking i would ditch the arcade monitor and put in a pc monitor, but if there is an easy way to sort out the problem with the existing hardware i will keep it.

is there also a way to see if it is a j-pac board, so i can get other games.

Not sure about the monitor but wasn't the JAMMA connector adopted as standard in most machines? I know the Galaga board I had at least had an adaptor.

Ah yes, now I'm the one with the confusion! J-Pac, JAMMA harness - I think these are the same thing?
