You might want to invest in at least 2tb's of storage Ryan. The list is HUGE!

BIG will set you in the right direction.

On the new edition there's a metric crapload of emulators, ROMs, preview videos, screenshots, artwork etc. Basically everything that is needed for an "ER-MA-GERD" setup.

The original is a smaller version, small pants versus great big pants if you will.

You will still need an OS, which one you use is your choice. I've used XP and 7, both work equally as well. V1.0 would fit on a 320GB drive but v2.0 will need around a 2TB drive

I'm also very keen to see what's in these pants!

I think it will be doing the rounds like the first one, less work for Dash!

what sort of system is ideal for this new version? i have a p4 running xp, it's fine for what i have now . but perhaps it will be a bit laggy with all these preview videos etc?

i might be better off with the old version...

I think you'd be fine with the new version however some of the newer games may not do so well. While MAME and Hyperspin are CPU intensive I *think* there are some games that benefit from a decent graphics card.

Dash has it already for memory. We all put in for a V2.0 2tb drive about 12 months back. BIG has the v1.0 500gb drive I think?

Question though.....Are we doing a crossover route of 2 drives (ie - 500gb goes clockwise, 2 tb anti clockwise or so to speak) or just the one?

I feel like big Kev..."I'm Excited!"

P.S. - Dlude had all the porn. Where is he? :(
