Well Snow Bros is one of the new favourites for sure...

Moon Cresta is pretty good as well and yes Gyruss is awesome.

Excellent :D

Snow Bros is awesome, especially in 2 player mode. Moon Cresta is a harsh mistress though but oh so rewarding when you get the 'Far Out' screen!

And Gyruss? Awesome and the music is tops!

Oh also forgot to ask...

Are there any good car/motorcycle games for joystick?

I remember soemthing along the lines of spy hunter or something.. a top down view.. I am sure I can recall dirt bikes in a vertical scroller avoiding things, or another one with rally cars????

I remember one in plan view I think (maybe chase view???) which had you start in chicago or something and drive across the states to New York or something.

Each level was making it to each desination (Capital city in the U.S.A.) without pranging your car. Reminded me of moon patrol and mario karts all rolled into one.

Very cool game back in my teenage years.

Have no idea what it was called but the savvy here may remember it.

Spyhunter was more high tech in appearance but had some fun times with that game.

Pole position and Indy 500 are excellent choices for kid friendly also.

Thats what I was thinking too... but didn't you have to actually smash another car down in Outrun???

Outrun was a red Ferarri simulator game. The game I'm speaking of was much simpler like mario karts.

It may have even been a motorbike but been a long time and can't really remember unless I see a screenie or something.
