Well here it is, the beginning of a much anticipated project, my Hyperpin build! Now be warned this won't be like my usual builds, this one will take quite some time, there's a lot of work to do!
First I need to buy a belt sander and take the paint off, bog it up and prep the surface. Then it will be restoring the glass retention rails, sourcing a lock down bar and new coin door, the existing one is beyond repair I think but I'll have a look. Hinges and fixings need replacing and I need to get the PC gear together for it. Then of course I need to measure up and find some LCD panels for it, likely to be a 46" and a 32" with the possibility of a 3rd smaller one. Then there is the matter of paint and artwork which I'll have to mull over. Other things include glass for the top, plexi for the back board and new legs and levellers which are readily available on ebay. Pinball Spares will be a much visited site for me I'm sure.
No doubt I've forgotten something but it will come together over time. This is going to be a fun long term project which will be updated here as I move along.
So let the fun begin!
