I've pulled out an old DDR1 board and was able to put the P4 chip into it, but that means I have dropped from 3Gb of DDR2 ram to 3/4 Gb of DDR 1 ram lol

She now boots, and I just have to find where I stashed my copy of tiny xp again to see if I can set her up! On the plus side, the motorised USB ports I bought at Jaycar a year or so ago have finally found a home, and it looks damn cool motoring out the side of my cabinet :-) :-)

Still have to get the light for up top, and work out where to put the power switch, and lastly to install the speakers.

I'm starting to notice all the little mistakes now, bothering me no end

I'll let you know, thanks mate!

My (future) MIL has got an old PC in her shed she is going to give me, so i'll see what is in that first - hopefully a decent board compared to what I have :)

It's running quite warm inside the box now, even with a huge intake fan - might need to cut another exhaust hole and whack a fan in it

Yell I put some exhaust holes at the top - worked well for the jukebox, but these p4s must run bloody hot!
