Here's a little project I completed over this long weekend. Was really good fun to make and has actually
inspired me to finish my full size cab.

Internals are a GameBoy Advance SP, so game cartridges can be swapped and any gane available to GBA can be played.
Must say thanks to vcoleiro1 (find him on youtube) who started this craze and was great in providing help
in building it.

Below are some pics and a video of the completed mini cab.

Want!

So all I need is a GBA? How much for one of those? Where do the buttons and mini joystick come from? What arcade games are available?

That's an absolute winner mate!

Yep all you need is :

GBA - better to get the ags-101 model (hard to get) they are the back lit models and have a much
brighter screen than the normal ags-001 models you readily find available. Got mine from the states for $54.

Mini joystick - Available from Digikey.com part no. GH7455-ND link - http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSea ... &x=26&y=17

Push buttons - from eBay link - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/6x-Momentary ... 415c3097ce

I have Space Invaders, Galaga, Galaxian, Donkey Kong, PacMan, Pole Position, Joust, Dig Dug, Frogger, Scramble, Gyruss. So much more to choose from!!

choice! good work. All my arcade stuff is on the backburner, as kitchen/bathroom reno is in full swing and taking up most of my free time.

well done!

How you got your fingers around assembling that tiny sucker in such great detail is a feat in itself!

I love it!
