I am using these leds i got off ebay... you can cut them every 3 leds so im not sure how to hook them up.. cheers matty :) :?

if you use a power splitter on your atx power supply. you can use the yellow and one black to power the leds. i think yellow is positive(+) and black negative(-) someone else may know better.

You're correct Heath. Yellow is 12v and either black is ground.

am i asking to much for a drawing of how i would power my leds ?

then rip the yellow and one of the black pins out of one of the split plugs. then strip about 1cm off of the end of the wires.

solder the yellow to positive (+) and the black to the negative (-)

if your led's have resistors on them (I am fairly certain they do) then you should have no drama.

sorry i cant really draw it at home on my mac... all my drawing tools are on the work pc...
