Not much happening with the build. been sick :( Man Flu

Have spent some time with the design for the table top overlay. Here is what I have come up with.
Just need to come up with some instructions for the Shift Key codes for the IPAC. I don't suppose any of you have got any I can use?

Cheers
Goochee

Finished the cabinet today :) Just waiting on the glass top to put the artwork down.
I like the overall look. The photos don't do it justice. Blue fans and LEDs above the CP's look great.
The only thing is I think it is too high :( or my stool is too low.
Or I need to bevel the cut out for the monitor. Sitting at the controls you miss out on the bottom 1-2cm of the screen.
The cabinet was supposed to have a separate base but I combined that in to the overall height of the sides. Sides work out to be 704 mm high to the bottom of the table top. I did put casters on that raised it to 729mm to the bottom of the table top.
I would be interested in how high some others cabinets are? I might have to lose the casters :(

That looks magic mate! Good work indeed!

I'll try to get the height of my cocktail tonight if I remember so you can compare.

If you do give tyhe monitor cutout a nice bevel it will give a nice slop towards the screen however once the glass is on it won't be as noticeable.

Top work!

Looks good. Actually looks pretty empty without a CRT in there.

Well done.

I put little rubber stoppers on the bottom of the ms pacman cabs. they just nail in and about 3mm thick.
