HAHA...likewise!

I think you just set a world record. Just remember the Mickey Mouse ears in the fast motion replay...lol

Nice work to date BIG. Might have to make a trip to Jaycar now for some grills but Danny had some cool ones on his bartop also....choices, choices... :?

My bartop has not grills at all. You can see the speaker cones if you look at the right angle.

The chrome covers were on the hankin. I am planning to have these always in stock. In fact 20 touched down in Adelaide today, waiting for delivery to me tomorrow. They look nice, but they would not be as good quality as the jaycar ones.

ps. did I mention I get many things from jaycar at wholesale price?

Cut out the side bits on the front today where lights will hopefully be, trimmed the outer skin, attached the base and bogged the bastard up! Oh yes, flush trimmed it all too.

As there was a bit of a gap between the outer and inner skin I pumped a whole tube of gap filler into it. Hoping to achieve a real smooth look to this one so a few extra coats of paint may be in order this time around.

The filler makes a world of difference...

Next step, sanding smooth then undercoat time. Ooh yeh.

Sweet as bro! Lookin' grand.

Might have to have a go at something like that myself.

Certainly one for the 'future projects' file.

Looking awesome Big.

Quick question...how do you flush trim the edges? Do you use a router with an attatchment?

Yep, the little bearing guide stops it going any further. Bit awkward going around the curve though and a word of advice, if you have counter sunk screws make sure the bearing guide is not going to hit it or it will dip in and all of a sudden so will the edge! I discovered that on some practice wood!

I'm thinking about black front and back and a red outside. A nice bright red.

Thoughts?

comming along nicely. May have to steal your idea :)

Might make a larger one for the main juke, and 2 small ones for the speaker boxes.
