Begee, once I get myself sorted and get the new speakers in I'll grab some pics of the innards.

Coolies. Was interested to see if you went for the double sided tape option as well.

Didn't get a chance to do anything this weekend, had a long list of other chores to get through! Wifey goes away to camp with the school next week so will have time to do 'me' stuff then if not before.

I am almost certain they will be a nice boost over the craptacular ones in there currently (not the Edifier ones).

Umm... not yet

The speakers are there, the volume faceplate is there and the tools are there, I keep getting side tracked!

I will do it though! I'll need the juke finished so I can have it out at the workshop with me!

Did you ever get this finished and some pics of the guts done mate?

I've been collecting bits over the last few months and am keen to get cracking for summer.

Yes and no.

Yes I got it finished (95%) but there were a few things which needed a redesign but when we got back from holiday a little while back it had suffered severe damage thanks to one of the kids having a bit of a party while we were gone (as well as other items in the house) As a result I've shelved it until I can firstly redesign it and can look at it again without doing my block.

As for the pics I didn't get around to it sorry mate but what was in there was the speakers (the ones Dlude sent me, the subby to which the ipod cable was plugged into the line in and 3 mini fluros connected in daisy chain (available from Bunnings) all plugged into a powerboard.

I am contemplating redesigning the whole thing to include a screen for v2 whether that is a small LCD or an old laptop repurposed. I also need to rethink the controls, as it was it was ok but far from perfect. Maybe a total touch screen set up would be the go.
