Yep, was a bargain... 19 inch.

has those high end BNC video connectors on the back and normal VGA. plus has a 4 port usb hub built in.

tried to get one months ago, exactly the same but went for $50. This one was a tenth that...

Its a bloody heavy mother tho'

Lots'o bracing req'd.

I guess a partial decase will be the go, using the screen mounts at the front into timber, and some sort of strapping at the back for support.

I was really lucky with the monitor I put in my Lowboy, the plastic casing had like a groove in it that was about 2cm deep behind the screen that some steel I had slotted into perfectly.
I just tec screwed that to some timber surrounds and no decase was necessary!

Absolutely moved to the back shed! I have 4 19" monitors, 2 17" and 1 17" LCD all sitting on a desk out of the way, as long as they're neat they're fine to stay. That said I'm sure wifey will be keen on getting a shed when we move. Naturally I'll have to aircondition it and make it a fully blown man cave!

over the chrissy holidays i am building a MASSIVE retaining wall. that will double the usable area in our back yard (currently our dog (samoyed/golden retreiver cross) is looking like a mountain goat climbing a hill) thus enabling me to double our shed size... look out more shit being hoarded...
then onto our computer nook/kitchen upgrade...
