Just let me know mate and we'll organise it!

It was your birthday on Friday? Do you have it noted on your profile? I sure hope we didn't miss it

Happy birthday for Friday anyways!

Thanks :) nah I don't have it noted... I am always a bit iffy about that sort of personal info on line.... So when I set up the profile I didn't put it in... and I have been too lazy to go and update it since

Hey Matt, no updates yet

Dash has the drive but no idea where he's at with it - haven't seen him around for quite some time. Will have to try to contact him on Whirlpool.

Hey Big :D

Yeah mate still have the drive, still waiting for HS 2.0. I've kept all the sets up to date, including the new Higher Quality Emumovies so i'm ready for HS 2.0. As soon as it releases I'll have the Pants set up and off!

I've even been messing with a Linux Live CD, that required no installation and you keep all the roms/emumovies on a hdd. To update you just need to run a new CD.

I've got the CD booting on multiple computers directly into mame and they all play well, but just getting a frontend going is proving a challenge. Might even end up coding one myself if I cant find a decent one.

Cheers :D

I've kept updating the Pants(tm) drive, atm it has; (~900gb)

    Atari2600
    Atari5200
    Atari7800
    AtariJaguar
    AtariLynx
    Atomiswave
    Colecovision
    Future Pinball
    Intellivision
    JukeBox
    Mame
    Mugen
    NeoGeopocketColor
    Nintendo
    Nintendo64
    NintendoGameboy
    NintendoGameboyAdvanced
    NintendoGameboyColor
    Panasonic3D0
    Sega Naomi
    Sega32X
    SegaCD
    SegaDreamcast
    SegaGameGear
    SegaGenesis
    SegaMasterSystem
    SonyPlaystation
    SuperModel
    SuperNintendo
    TaitoTypeX
    TurboGrafx16
    Zinc

They all have videos, theme, artwork. I've also made a secondary version that I use on my MAME arcade cabinet that has; (~350gb)

    Atomiswave
    Mame
    Sega Naomi
    SuperModel
    TaitoTypeX
    Zinc

But they are all mixed into 1 wheel (Single Wheel mode), as they're all Arcade games. I did this for my cab as I found setting up all the other emulators quite a chore and it felt kind of weird to play SNES or Master System on my Arcade Cabinet.

I much prefer this version over the multi-system one above, as you only have to set controls up for 6 emulators and all of them can be setup via CFG or INI files rather than having to mess around with Registry. Which means if we could all agree on a buttons config for Keyboard then you'd just have to copy it to C: (I've made it C Drive this time, as its much easier than having people trying to partition their drives) and run it.

At the moment I have it set up as;

Player 1 Controls
Code:
Start   - 1
Coin    - 5
UP      - UP ARROW
DOWN    - DOWN ARROW
LEFT    - LEFT ARROW
RIGHT   - RIGHT ARROW
BUTTON1 - A
BUTTON2 - S
BUTTON3 - D
BUTTON4 - Z
BUTTON5 - X
BUTTON6 - C

Player 2 Controls
Code:
Start   - 2
Coin    - 6
UP      - O
DOWN    - L
LEFT    - K
RIGHT   - ;
BUTTON1 - T
BUTTON2 - Y
BUTTON3 - U
BUTTON4 - G
BUTTON5 - H
BUTTON6 - J

Common Controls
Code:
TEST MENU - F2
SERVICE   - F1
RESET     - F3
EXIT      - ESC

I've also got a Joystick->Keyboard encoder called JoyToKey setup like this, so if your controls use Joysticks (in windows) rather than a Keyboard encoder you can use this. But you will need to set up MAME's controls seperately as MAME doesn't like programs like JoyToKey.

Sounds awesome Dash! Does the MAME emulator have high score etc enabled?

Are the controls you configured standard MAME or are they a compromise between the different emulators?

I like the idea of an all in one wheel, less configuration and less explaining to other people how to use it!
