Picked up from Bricklink for $73.00 (+$12.00 postage)

http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8007-1

Already have R2-D2 (Plus a robotic version of him from the mindstorms developer sets) but still sourcing, Bobba Fett, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper in MISB condition.

Fingers crossed as Bobba fett and Darth Vader are a bitch to find in Oz.

How cool is that? Boba Fett would be sweet! He was one of my favourites.

Speak of the devil:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :MEBIDX:IT

On my watch list atm as my regular seller is sourcing them from the U.S./E.U. for me atm. Depending how she goes, I might put a late bid on this one, but if anyone else wants dibs, let me know so I don't bid on it. I reckon around $100.00 would be a fair price but I reckon I'd go higher, seeing it's a rare set.

Edit: Don't know how I came up with Bobba Fett but it's Jango Fett...lol

I've recently gone on a Lego binge as well. Got the new Excavator 8043 coming from the US for $285 delivered. Was tempted to get the Tantive IV as well, still uming & arring that one. There is a used but complete UCS Y-Wing I'm bidding on as well as the #8455 Backhoe set as well... I use www.priceusa.com.au to order stuff from the US. Very handy service, I used them when I got the Millenium Falcon and the Star Destroyer.

Nice work Jad...love all those sets. My advice is get em all... Just make sure you get V2.0 of the Excavator as there was a recall on that set. Don't worry if you haven't as you can get a free service pack from Lego for the replacement parts and ammended instructions.

Check out the V-19 torrent set also. A pretty good set. Bought one for my nephew and have now wanted to get another for myself. Not a UCS series set but a great addition to it nevertheless.

Are you also using Bricklink sellers from the U.S., etc... at all? Bought my latest set through them but hindered by not having a Paypal account as yet and wish to grab many others from international sellers.

Mate if you need Paypal I'm happy to transact on your behalf, just chuck the funds in my bank and I'll make the payment for you.

Yeah I've checked out Bricklink. I've been using that as a sanity check against some of my purchases.. Haven't bought anything from a seller there yet though. Is there anyone you would recommend based on prior dealings?

I've used these 2 Jad:

http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=tezzajw
http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=mattieee

Both have been reliable and mattieee I've used twice now. mattiee always has below retail pricing for his new sets. Rotates stock on a regular basis, so watch his listings every few weeks for a good deal.

Bought this one back in 2004:

http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/10019_Rebel_Blockade_Runner

Same as the Tantive IV but the UCS version of it. About 400 more pieces aswell.

Just thought I'd throw it into contention as it's a real collectable if you can get hold of one at a decent price.
