I reckon it stands around 6 feet. Makes my 2.5feet model look like a dwarf.

Still decyphering what custom (of my own design) I should consider in future?? Thinking making the Eureka Tower in Melbourne. It's been created by another designer but stands around 6 feet also. I'm looking around 9 feet for my creation of it.

The bigger the scale, the better the detail that can be had but at the expense of more parts....like around 20,000+ of them which makes for a 2.5k build at best....

Holy Crap!

Awesome thought BIG! I never thought of that and here I live in Melbourne and couldn't think of it.....JUST AWESOME....

That's a massive undertaking which could take some time and serious effort but I'm 100% sure I can pull it off! Will take a long time to make it but definitely not an easy task at best.

I like a challenge and as far as I know, haven't seen a lego replica of it and would love some limelight in displaying it at a MOC meeting one day.

At least if I can pull it off, I would be immensely satisfied with my design.

I'll ponder this one but you'll hear about it first in here if I do for sure!

I'm confident our Soda could top that effort. 8-)

I'm aiming for a more detailed, intricate design using tan or dark tan bricks as the base colour, so not all bad considering it has been done. I'll see if I can contact designer of the build you displayed Frosty and get some tips from him. Who knows, he may be a co designer in my build.

As for Parliment house...Interesting. I like the sound of that too. Would be an easier design to replicate and might be able to get some Tax dollars back by displaying it in their foyer. Now, that would be bliss... 8-)

Actually thanks Soda, looking up that Flinders St station link has led me to all sort of interesting articles etc about the station, and how Melbourne was! (I'm a bit of a history buff)

Here some old Mebourne markets if you want something different to build:

And a huge thread on Flinders St itself:
