Yes, I have moved (well almost) to a commercial location.

Business has been busy and as such, took over my carport, shed, wifes shed, granny flat, plus the back yard in general.

The new location is only 5 mins away from my house, so access to after hours is not a problem.

Loaded up the trailer and head off to the new workshop.

Not much to look at outside, but inside

even worse. This is the old Steggles Chickens factory, which closed down years ago. Now houses Anglicare.
Image
this is the first room where they did door sales. Still has all the fridges. Perfect storage for drinks at a meet. This first room I am planning to have a few machines on display. Let the boys from Anglicare come over and have a bash during their lunch breaks.
Image
The next room which I am planning to use as an office/arcade wiring/completion room.
Image
Image
The last room will be the workshop, where I will be doing all the woodworking and prep work.
Image
Has some rubbish from the previous owners. This room is actually a freezer, so should be cooler in summer and warmer in winter due to the insulation.
Image
This door leads into a corridor in the building which I can use for large objects which won't fit through the standard door.
Image
Started putting away my tools. This bench was left here from the previous owner.
Image
This is the large door out into the corridor, which needs some repair. Just need replacement track wheels.
Image
The corridor was flagged off by Anglicare and a sign saying "private area, no access to Anglicare staff". Very thoughtful.
Image
As can be seen, the door here leads from the corridor to the first room, and the large door into the third.
Image

Still plenty of work to do, but now I have the space to do it.

Awesome Danny! Now I'll have to post pics when I set up my new work space as well!

I bet the wifey is happy to reclaim some space back at home

Awesome setup Danny! I can't fathom how excited you must be in aquiring your first premise for your business. I'm currently in phase one of hogging up the entire backyard. Just waiting for wifey to crack the shits in the next 12 months before I'm kicked out...lol

Thanks guys. I'm really hyped about this. Got most of the cleaning done (3 years worth), and had laminex drop off some more stock yesterday.

Laminex rep turned up today to see the new site, and can see the potential. Showed me a new sample. Brushed aluminium laminated particle board. Looks great but at $65 M2+gst, works about $200 sheet! I guess if someone is paying so much for a cabinet, what is another $200 for one built out of aluminium?

Will post some more pics at the end of the week, when I am more settled in.

and soda, took me 6 years to get kicked out. But as they say "If you build it, she will come"

I broke the petrol flap off while reaching over to hang up the petrol nozzle. Only thin plastic.

We hired a VT exactly the same when we drove to melbourne. The car was brand new, and my wife LOVED it.

When we were looking for a new car 3 years later, found this one, and exact same. We picked up this one in 2003 (3 years old).

Well, if Danny hosts a party there for us sisters one day, I'm sure there will be a few wasted bodies lying around the following morning...

...and Danny....Any plans for a showroom of sorts to show off your work to prospective customers that visit?
